This is a really nice article that JC has his Biophysics students read. It is a fresh perspective from a person who has jumped ship to Biology.

What is evidence?
Given the daunting challenges facing theoretical physicists working on new theories of the universe, what should be required of them in terms of proof?
Nature recently explored that very question.
Biophysical Society meeting
The group just returned from another great BPS meeting, this year in Baltimore, MD. Besides our academic father/grandfather Klaus Schulten giving the National Lecture, Karl and Curtis each gave two excellent presentations on BamA and BtuB respectively. JC, Anna, and Conner all presented posters as well. Good job everyone!
Training efforts underway
The last week was a busy one for the lab, with JC in Chile teaching at a workshop titled Cryo-EM meets MD. At the same time, Karl, Anthony, and Conner were at Riverdale Middle School near Atlanta showing VMD Lite to junior high and high school students. See more on our hands-on page.
